| 🐝 EVANSVILLE BUZZ ⌁ your weekly pollen report ⌁ | | 🐝 | Go Your Own Way, Evansville This weekend is a full-on choose-your-own-adventure: Friday you can scream “Go Your Own Way” at the Victory, mosh through night one of Fuchsia Fest, or walk into House of Lecter's opening night and find out what three floors of bad decisions feel like. Spooky season has officially clocked in. Then Saturday somehow goes harder. Tailgate Revival throws its 10th birthday party on Main Street, Funk in the City takes over Haynie's Corner, 400 makers fill the 4-H Center, and twelve marching bands storm the Reitz Bowl. So many headliners we had to upgrade to a Big Six. Pick a lane or pick all of them (we're not your mom). Let's get into it. |

Worth the drive, worth the babysitter, worth canceling the other thing you said yes to. | | |  | CONCERT Sat, Sept 26 · Gates 4 PM, music 5:30 · Main Street, downtown · 21+ Ten years ago a hometown band started mashing up '90s country, today's hits and its own songs, then went off and opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt and Lainey Wilson. Saturday they throw the birthday party on Main Street with The Sam Hahn Band and Gavin Vollman, Miller's BBQ smoking and Tiki on Main slinging drinks. Part of every ticket helps local causes, from the Police Foundation to Animal Care & Control. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Tickets are online only (no gate sales), and $15 in advance beats $25 day-of. It's rain or shine, so pack the poncho you swear you won't need. |
| | |  | CONCERT Fri, Sept 25 · 8 PM · Victory Theatre Six Atlanta musicians who've spent more than a decade living inside the Rumours era, harmonies and all. They've taken this show as far as the Netherlands, and Friday it lands at the Victory. Expect “Rhiannon,” “Songbird,” and a “Go Your Own Way” singalong loud enough to shake the 1921 plaster. Shawls and tambourines strongly encouraged. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Make a night of it downtown: dinner at Samuel's, the show at the Victory, then drinks at Tiki on Main to argue about which Stevie song hit the hardest. |

Three floors of Lecter's twisted experiments, plus The Catacombs, the basement haunt that's been scaring Evansville since 1996. The Gore Galore crew rebuilt it all in honor of the late Phil Wolter, the guy who made Halloween around here a competitive sport. Open every Friday and Saturday through Halloween. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Opening-night lines get long. The $15 Fast Pass cuts the wait roughly in half, which is cheaper than therapy and way faster. |
| | |  | FESTIVAL Fri–Sat, Sept 25–26 · Doors 5 PM · STAGEtwo, 321 N. Congress Ave · All ages Two nights, 24+ bands, and enough emo, punk, hardcore and indie to make your old MySpace Top 8 weep. Sick of Talk, Legally Sheila, Staring Contest, Football Head, Watergate and a mystery secret set, with art installations and vendors between sets. A few friends started it in 2020. Now it's the scene's big weekend. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Grab the $35 advance weekend pass instead of two $20 days. Also: earplugs. Future you at a quiet dinner party says thanks. |
| | |  | ART Sat, Sept 26 · 10 AM–5 PM · Haynie's Corner Arts District · Free The 22nd fall edition turns Haynie's Corner into one big open-air art market: stained glass, handmade jewelry, plants, baked goods, reworked thrift fits, and food trucks holding the whole thing together. Leashed dogs welcome, and there's a real chance you walk home with the art that finally fixes the empty wall over your couch. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Park in the gravel lot across from Bokeh Lounge, then make it a crawl with a pint at Haynie's Corner Brewing Co. on the way out. |
| | |  | SHOPPING Sat–Sun, Sept 26–27 · 9 AM–4 PM · Vanderburgh 4-H Center · $3, under 10 free The 52nd annual Fine Arts & Crafts Show packs 400+ Midwest makers into the 4-H Center, and the rule is strict: handmade or hand-embellished only. Quilts, woodwork, pottery, candles, jewelry and a suspicious amount of early Christmas decor. The kind of place where you come in for one wreath and leave with a hutch. 🍕 Bonus Buzz: Bring cash and a wagon. Plenty of booths skip the Venmo life, and your arms will give out way before your willpower does. |
