Meanwhile, CenterPoint Energy continues its cosplay as Scrooge McDuck—hoarding gold coins while we’re over here rationing AC like it’s the Oregon Trail. They rolled out a “special payment plan” this month, which is basically like your toxic ex saying, “You still owe me money, but you can Venmo me in installments.” Cool. Totally helping.
