🧃 The FAQs That Matter

  • Cost? Free 99. (Bring cash to tip your fave porch rockers.)

  • Kid-friendly? Absolutely. If they dig live music, they’ll dig this fest.

  • Food? Food trucks parked by the Haynie’s Fountain Sat 3–9 PM + Sun 4–9 PM.

  • Coolers? Yep even with alcohol (but leave the glass at home, please).

  • Bathrooms? Port-o-potties near Alhambra + 700 block of 2nd St.

  • Parking? Free street parking. Pro tip: park near your must-see band.

🐝 Why We Love It

Because this isn’t some big-budget festival with barricades and wristbands... This is Evansville being Evansville! Neighbors hosting bands on their porches, strangers becoming friends, and our city’s music scene getting the love it deserves. It’s local, it’s authentic, and it’s the best reminder that this town knows how to throw a party.

Buzz Tip: Don’t over-plan. Wander, discover, and let the porches guide you. That “random house on 2nd Street” might just host your new favorite band.

💡 Buzz Shoutout: Samantha Buente

Every great festival has a mastermind, and for Front Porch Fest EVV, that genius is Samantha Buente. When she’s not running Haynie’s Corner Brewing Company, she’s busy turning the entire Arts District into Evansville’s favorite late-summer block party.

Samantha has spent six years as events coordinator for Haynie’s Corner, curating bands, wrangling volunteers, and matching musicians with porches like a musical matchmaker. Thanks to her detail-obsessed planning (and serious sponsorship skills), the fest not only entertains 7,000+ porch-hoppers each year—it also pays the artists who make the magic happen.

In her words: “Nothing ever surprises me more than seeing the neighborhood really come together… it’s beautiful.”

So next time you’re raising a glass at Haynie’s or dancing on somebody’s lawn, give Samantha a cheer. Without her, this porch party doesn’t happen. 🐝🎶
